Survivor Heats Up
Published on March 12, 2004 By PoetPhilosopher In Movies & TV & Books
Ok. I admit it. Survivor All Stars has been lukewarm for me.

First of all - what is up with everyone quitting!?! Hello - you are still a loser even if you quit! You-can't-fire-me-I-quit doesn't play in Survivor.

And don't even get me started about how disappointing Hagrid has been. MY MAN.. Come on!

"All-Stars" - sheesh!! (sigh)

But then last night - Lex pulls off what may have been one of the best strategery in the history of the franchise (or at least recent memory). A beautiful mix of politics, communication, and good-old backstabbing.

Plus he is a tattooed pierced freak which you gotta love.

I hope I don't get slammed by Dan for a useless blog, but I just had to get this off my chest.

Go Lex !!

About three weeks ago, I wrote an article about SurvivorLink and mentioned in the comments section that I had forgotten all about Lex.... I shouldn't have done that, and for anyone else who watched it when he was a previous contestant shouldn't have either. Having said that, I'm going to miss Colby... he was pretty good. It now puts Ethan in a better position, especially if he makes it to the individual categories. I wish they would have voted off Jerri or Shii En. Both are next on the chopping block. As far as the other tribe goes... I hope nobody wins! Okay, I would like Alecia to win, but I think she'll be voted off soon, due to sheer strength. But who knows... I figured Colby was going to win. And yes, I am hooked on Survivor.

Can't they at least get these people a shower?
I mean, shees, dirty, skinny, scraggly lookin' folks are just not my idea of entertainment.
Then again, neither are fat naked people......

I enjoyed a great re-run of "Patton" on Turner Classics last night, flipping between O'rielly, Scarboro, and Hannity.

Makes me sound like a Neo-con, I'll just watch MTV for a fair and balanced screening.

hehehe

What a horribly useless blog. Good heavens...

lol I don't watch survivor, but only because I found the initial editions somewhat hollow. It was a good idea, but it got old for me.

Boy, the whole Colby thing really made things interesting! The only thing I hate about it is Jerri getting any satisfaction. Colby was a very dignified loser. He seems like a genuinely good guy. I was glad to see Sue go. I missed the incident that led to her breakdown. She really lost it! I find the show quite interesting. I am not one who has watched every episode but I have enjoyed the ones I saw.
